We're Not Gonna Take It!

Glorious Ramadan's rolled around again. Albeit this time, due to a number of reasons, I'm just not with it (although those who know me will claim I was never with it to begin with). Work is getting on my nerves now as well. Just feels like nothing's together at the moment. Need to sort myself out soon... Need to get some sleep to begin with... g'nite y'all!

Livin' on a prayer (and nandos) Been a somewhat expensive weekend for me. Friday I had the day off so I could go to the local Masjid for a change. Has been ages since I did that. Normally there's this place near work where they use a hall every Friday for Juma but I was like I need to go feel the community thing again. Plus I wanted to hopefully run into one of dad's friend's who's son recently passed away. Always sad when a parent buries their own children. Especially since the son has 2 young children of his own. I knew the guy... very nice friendly person. Unfortunate but thats the way Allah wills it, gotta believe that whatever happens, happens cuz he is the best of planners. Friday I also bumped in to a few guys who I rarely get to see. One cuz he's married, has kids and runs a business Masha'Allah... the other who recently got married so understandably is busy and the third who moved a bit further away so isnt always around. No Way! Where this blog had been resigned to the bin of non-updatedness (yes thats my word people, live with it) I have now been pushed into posting again by a certain someone... you know who you are... and to those who dont... well its the better half... (I can see a few people wondering what I mean by that) Well, it means exactly what it says on the tin. I am officially no longer single, no longer on the market, no longer flying solo etc etc.. yeap... I'm married... 2 months and 5 days exactly as of today. Apologies to the majority of blogistan as the news hasnt been made public till now. Only a few people who I've bumped into on msn knew.. But anyhoo.. before anyone starts asking, the better half is back home... She's studying hence not here yet. Insha'Allah soon... Anyhooo.. As I've been told my blog is entertaining .. although I'd think it only applies if you're a hugely pessimistic depressive but oh well... Its the excuse I needed to try and update mor...

We're not gonna take it!!! Well apparently we'll have to.. although it is annoying.. and to top it off.. the twisted sister website aint working.. or my computer's playin up.. (probably the later)... why is everything so difficult!!!??? ARGH!!!!

Eid Mubarak all!! Last official day of my 2 weeks off from work for Eid. Needed time off for various different reasons, not least that I wasnt getting enough sleep and..... surprise surprise, i still think I havent caught up much with my sleep. Oh well,its given me a chance to bum around.... mom wanted me back at work yesterday but since I got this cold/sorethroat/flu thingy on Eid day I've been let off the hook. Its Friday morning... I'm still waiting for the guy off Ebay to let me know the final price for the stuff I've asked. Hopefully he'll give me a good price and double hopefully (read : Insha'Allah) he'll say he can send the stuff out today for delivery tomorow. If not, I mite just hack it all the way up there... Hey if nothing else the change of scenery going down to Southend will be nice. Might take my camera up and take a few pictures as well. Oh well, we'll see how that goes. I should get up and go take a shower as I dont want to be late for Juma ...
