No Way!

Where this blog had been resigned to the bin of non-updatedness (yes thats my word people, live with it) I have now been pushed into posting again by a certain someone... you know who you are... and to those who dont... well its the better half... (I can see a few people wondering what I mean by that) Well, it means exactly what it says on the tin. I am officially no longer single, no longer on the market, no longer flying solo etc etc.. yeap... I'm married... 2 months and 5 days exactly as of today. Apologies to the majority of blogistan as the news hasnt been made public till now. Only a few people who I've bumped into on msn knew..

But anyhoo.. before anyone starts asking, the better half is back home... She's studying hence not here yet. Insha'Allah soon...

Anyhooo.. As I've been told my blog is entertaining .. although I'd think it only applies if you're a hugely pessimistic depressive but oh well... Its the excuse I needed to try and update more often.. who knows... it mite really happen this time!?

So one thing I havent mentioned on here (primarily as before this latest stint, I have blogged only twice in the 5 and a bit years I have taken it up)is my interest/love/hate of motorbikes. Shoot to thrill So I just finished watching Inception (yes I know I am only a year or so behind the times). I took the plunge today with a full understanding (or so I thought) of the concept of the movie and what to expect. Oh Em Geeee... was I in for a shock and such an excellent one at that. A brilliantly executed idea and thankfully, for once, an original one. I have to say I cant remember the last time I watched a movie which wasnt a sequel, prequel, reboot or connected to some other movie idea/concept in some way, shape, form or aspect. Yes it can be argued it goes into the augmented reality side of things which has been used many times before but this is a very refreshing take on the genre. I like how the movie asked or answered questions that were popping into my head as I watched the movie (yes even though I do prefer the no brainer movies, but I do like to keep an inquisitive mind). Last Juma of Ramazan, man the Masjid was packed. This cute little kid was standing next to me, immitating his dad at Namaz (works for me if the kid's learning). Turkish bakers sure know their stuff. Olive bread (if u havent heard of it, try it, u'll b amazed) and Potato pasties. I juss love taking stuff home fer iftar, getting blasted by mom for doing so, then looking at the say it tastes good. :)
