Fasting again

Think it's around 2 hours or so to sehri now.. and i'm still awake.. then again i'm always awake till weird hours... as long as i get up fer Fajr it's all cool. Hmm... got sooooooooooo much stuff to do tomorrow.. (and being me i never prioritize) Mom's still on my case to go get some new clothes for Eid... I dont know, I juss dont find that EID atmosphere here... Insha'Allah i'll b out and about tomorrow gettin' bits n bobs done and if i get time in the end i'll Insha'Allah buy some clothes which i wanna give as gifts, and if my card aint max'd out.. then i'll get somethin' for myself... (which means i probably wont have anything left for myself). But i have to say Fasts here are sooo short u dont even notive Alhamdulillah.. and then u can go out and do a ton of stuff and still run the hundred meter sprint at the end too... I feel like popeye now.. a smallfry yet strong.. :-)

So one thing I havent mentioned on here (primarily as before this latest stint, I have blogged only twice in the 5 and a bit years I have taken it up)is my interest/love/hate of motorbikes. I say hate (strong word) but its not necessarily that... It is just a case of not having sympathy when the things go wrong (and boy some have had their share... not naming names Honda CBF125...oops). Last Juma of Ramazan, man the Masjid was packed. This cute little kid was standing next to me, immitating his dad at Namaz (works for me if the kid's learning). Turkish bakers sure know their stuff. Olive bread (if u havent heard of it, try it, u'll b amazed) and Potato pasties. I juss love taking stuff home fer iftar, getting blasted by mom for doing so, then looking at the say it tastes good. :)

I'll tell you, somethings are juss beyond me. Here's an example, there's a phrase used in urdu when u get to someplace and someone u know is always there. They'll most probably say something like, 'tum agaye!?' (you've come?!)... errmmmm... no i havent gotten there yet, this is my clone who got there faster cuz he found a good parking spot!!!! Whass the point of asking someone if they have come when they are standing there right in front of you?? (I tend to notice these things sometimes.. nooooo.. i'm not one of those whiners who go on and on about small habits of other people they dont like!)
