Politics or goo goo gaa gaa?

Man.. usually i keep my polictical and world affairs views to myself cuz people go ur weird man.. but like.. this one made me laff.. had to let it out.. like a lotta people out there.. i wanted to know what exactly Mr. Powell had up his sleeve for the UN.. and man... it juss cracks me up how these guyz act like kids.. look at it this way.. in the case against Iraq, the Americans say Al-Qaida is like MAJORLY linked to Iraq... the Brits say they mite have something but it aint important or relevant... (remember these are the main allies in the whole thing against Iraq) There was a Brit cop who was killed around 2 weeks ago when they tried to arrest an illegal immigrant here. The Brits are still lookin at the situation and although terrorist stuff hasnt been ruled out they havent said its Al-Qaida yet .. the Americans on the other hand sayin' it was an Al-Qaida guy who killed the cop and the brits sayin we dont know... And this aint small fry kinda stuff.. Colin Powell going it was an Al-Qaida dude and here the British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw saying we dont haven info. yet... Man... The Americans must have some contacts to know stuff that happens in England even before the Brits do... And then the Americans pull out this obscure unit in the north of Iraq juss cuz it has the word Islam in its name and say they're in cahoots with Al-Qaida... hmm.. strange no one knew about this before.. or that it wasnt mentioned before but a strong case nonetheless...but umm.. hey.. hold it a sec... didnt this whole thing start cuz of the alleged nuclear and biological capabilities of Iraq?? How come they're tryin to pull Al-Qaida into all this... which brings me back to my original point.. when a small child cant get his way... he'll try every excuse no matter how weak or maningless it is to get their way... Go on Americans... someone'll listen to one of your excuses...

So one thing I havent mentioned on here (primarily as before this latest stint, I have blogged only twice in the 5 and a bit years I have taken it up)is my interest/love/hate of motorbikes. I say hate (strong word) but its not necessarily that... It is just a case of not having sympathy when the things go wrong (and boy some have had their share... not naming names Honda CBF125...oops). Last Juma of Ramazan, man the Masjid was packed. This cute little kid was standing next to me, immitating his dad at Namaz (works for me if the kid's learning). Turkish bakers sure know their stuff. Olive bread (if u havent heard of it, try it, u'll b amazed) and Potato pasties. I juss love taking stuff home fer iftar, getting blasted by mom for doing so, then looking at the say it tastes good. :)

I'll tell you, somethings are juss beyond me. Here's an example, there's a phrase used in urdu when u get to someplace and someone u know is always there. They'll most probably say something like, 'tum agaye!?' (you've come?!)... errmmmm... no i havent gotten there yet, this is my clone who got there faster cuz he found a good parking spot!!!! Whass the point of asking someone if they have come when they are standing there right in front of you?? (I tend to notice these things sometimes.. nooooo.. i'm not one of those whiners who go on and on about small habits of other people they dont like!)
