Now.. I realize people are ill at ease cuz of the stuff going on in Iraq.. and it's ofcourse understandable.. and ofcourse everyone has their own issues too... except fer Yazzie.. but she's weird... kiddin :) ... anyways.. gettin' back to the subject at hand.. as i was recently reminded from a post by Arshe ji, smiling is indeed a Sunnah.. I've decided we need to have a Smile Campaign around here... aint easy but if you put on juss one heartfelt smile in a day... one u really mean.. u'll probably birghten up someone's day... (ok i know i'm weird, sue me).. But this cant be a regular smile.. this has to be like an extraordinary smile... can be to anyone, parents, siblings, relatives, neighbours...friends.. Its your chioce.. I'll get the ball rollin'... I walked in from work today.. saw mom as soon as i walked in, gave her the biggest smile i've given in ages and gave her a hug... Thass my contribution.. Anyone else care to share??? (oh did i mention ice cream for everyone who shares their efforts!)

Come on people.. lets promote smiles for once! :)

So one thing I havent mentioned on here (primarily as before this latest stint, I have blogged only twice in the 5 and a bit years I have taken it up)is my interest/love/hate of motorbikes. I say hate (strong word) but its not necessarily that... It is just a case of not having sympathy when the things go wrong (and boy some have had their share... not naming names Honda CBF125...oops). Shoot to thrill So I just finished watching Inception (yes I know I am only a year or so behind the times). I took the plunge today with a full understanding (or so I thought) of the concept of the movie and what to expect. Oh Em Geeee... was I in for a shock and such an excellent one at that. A brilliantly executed idea and thankfully, for once, an original one. I have to say I cant remember the last time I watched a movie which wasnt a sequel, prequel, reboot or connected to some other movie idea/concept in some way, shape, form or aspect. Yes it can be argued it goes into the augmented reality side of things which has been used many times before but this is a very refreshing take on the genre. I like how the movie asked or answered questions that were popping into my head as I watched the movie (yes even though I do prefer the no brainer movies, but I do like to keep an inquisitive mind). Last Juma of Ramazan, man the Masjid was packed. This cute little kid was standing next to me, immitating his dad at Namaz (works for me if the kid's learning). Turkish bakers sure know their stuff. Olive bread (if u havent heard of it, try it, u'll b amazed) and Potato pasties. I juss love taking stuff home fer iftar, getting blasted by mom for doing so, then looking at the say it tastes good. :)
